Founded in 2015, Confio was created to engineer wireless automation hardware and systems that perform consistently in real-world environments—dense buildings, mixed protocols, and long operational lifecycles. From the beginning, our focus has been on install-ready, edge-centric infrastructure designed for scale.

Confio was the first company in India to design and manufacture IoT-enabled Z-Wave mesh networking products, enabling dependable control for connected homes and buildings. Today, Confio operates as an OEM and ODM partner to two Forbes Top-10 global home automation companies, with products deployed across large installations worldwide.

All Confio products are designed, developed, and validated in-house by our R&D teams. Our hardware portfolio spans lighting control, safety, security, comfort, energy management, and sustainability—engineered for reliability, predictable behavior, and long-term serviceability.

Confio is also the founding hardware and systems engineering partner behind the Nexe’ platform, contributing deep expertise in device design, protocol integration, and field deployment. Nexe’ is owned and operated independently as a Netherlands-based platform company.

Confio’s patent-pending hardware products are compact, functionally advanced, and purpose-built for production deployments—not reference designs. The company is led by a founder with 30 years of global technology experience, delivering systems across international markets.
