At Koan, creation begins with a sketch, listening - to the wood grain, to the craftsman’s rhythm, to the air within the space where an object will belong.
Each piece is built as a collectable, entirely handcrafted using solid woods like Valsadi teak, oak, and rosewood, finished with natural oils,
and detailed with brass, cane or stone.
Each joinery, curve, and proportion carries intention -
