Recognizing this transformative potential of natural light, Skyshade established a dedicated Daylighting division in 2008. This marked the beginning of a relentless pursuit of innovation. It pioneered ground-breaking products like the Lightpipe, Norikool, Hybrid lighting system, which revolutionized how sunlight is harnessed and distributed within buildings. This focus on daylighting solutions fueled the creation of our in-house R&D facility in 2012. Here, a team of dedicated professionals continues to push the boundaries of daylighting technology, resulting in a growing portfolio of patented solutions.

However, the story doesn’t end here daylighting. Fast forward to 2020. Recognizing the crucial role building facades play in modern Buildings, Skyshade embarked on a new chapter. It leveraged our combined expertise in light management, materials, and engineering to develop innovative daylighting and solar heat management solutions for windows & building facades. These systems maximize natural light penetration while blocking the solar heat ensuring exceptional energy efficiency and long-term performance.
