Shortly after the opening, the hotel went on to win one the most prestigious awards for hotels in South Asia. The HICSA (Hotel Investment Conference South Asia) is a platform for all the different stakeholders of the hospitality industry, the world over. HICSA Hotel of the Year Awards were established to acknowledge exceptional hotel developments in South Asia. It was a matter of great pride for the PPA office, that the Vivanta by Taj was named the best hotel of the year in the upscale segment, just 4 months after its opening.
