Value Windows and Doors was founded by James and Lisa Ye in 2005, with a shared vision to deliver high-quality windows and doors to the market. Their journey wasn’t without challenges; two years after the company’s inception, the 2007 financial crisis hit, plunging many businesses into turmoil. Window and door companies were among the hardest hit, with firms shutting down on a weekly basis.

Faced with the looming prospect of closure, James and Lisa knew they had to make drastic changes to keep their dreams alive. They decided to disrupt the norm by significantly reducing their lead time to three days. To accomplish this, they expanded their operations to include a second and third shift, an initiative that demanded immense dedication and hard work from all team members.

Their innovative approach and sheer determination were the driving forces that not only kept Value Windows and Doors afloat but also enabled the company to thrive amid the crisis. This story is a testament to our roots; it illustrates the resilience, innovation, and tenacity that continue to be at the heart of our operations to this day.
