In April 2002, ZYNORIQUE (pronounced as zai-no-reek) was started by Architect Richard Belho and Associate Architect Kezhagwetuo (Ato) Peseyie.
Zynorique Initiatives is a Registered Society under the Govt. of Nagaland. The primary objective is to train and impart Creative Skills to the local Naga youth and to motivate the younger generation to use their creativity and Imagination in creating Job Opportunities, to protect the environment, to Preserve and Promote Art and Culture of Nagaland.
Zynorique Initiatives in co-ordination with several State Departments has conducted a number of Hands on Trainings, Workshops and Seminars to train and equip the local youths with desired Professional Skills. These Trainings, Workshops and Seminars have reached out to the Local populace and have provided them with necessary skills so that they can be self reliant. The Objective of the Trainings will also be to provoke young people to understand the Dignity of Labour and realize the opportunity they can avail through the imparted Professional Skills .
Zynorique Initiatives has by far been successful in providing a platform to the local youths in training and enhancing Professional Knowledge, Skills and Expertise for young, enthusiastic and employable people of Nagaland. Zynorique Initiatives has undertaken all this activity as Job opportunities at the Government sector is almost saturated and there is a critical need to invest in other skills and expertise so that young, educated and employable people have greater and broader options for employment and livelihood support.
