Maroor’s Machine Tools Co.

The Maroor family business took off as a small grocery store in Bunder, Mangalore’s commercial centre, in 1958. They soon began to arrange spare parts for their customers’ trucks before steadily branching into automobile spare parts, machine tools and industrial consumable business which further strengthened their relationship with customers.

 

The business is the brainchild of three brothers Late Maroor Vittal Pai, Late Maroor Padmanabha Pai and Late Maroor Kamalaksha Pai. Blooming industrialisation in Mangalore motivated them to venture into the business of catering to the needs of industrial consumables, machinery, machine tools and industrial equipment and the desire to add new verticles with the increasing needs in the market still continues. With the third generation of the family driving the company to its current successes, they are operational in 28 locations with 37 touchpoints backed by 300+ employees.
