Tropical Wood Industries

Tropical Wood Industries was originally established in Mangalore by the late K. Khalid Bawa under the brand name – Tropical Timbers, and the main variety of timber was Silver Oak cut sizes, which was produced mainly for the Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore market place. Tropical Timbers was one of the first to introduce Silver Oak in Karnataka. In the initial stages, the sawing of our timber was outsourced as we had no saw-milling unit of our own.

We soon established our own saw-mill in the year 1986 under the brand of Tropical Wood Industries at Natekal, Mangalore, which was expanded as a Block board and Plywood manufacturing unit, in the year 1992. HK Brand Plywood and Block Boards has made exponential progress today, with further modernization of the unit, and the installation of other Ultramodern machinery, to become a preferred choice of discerning clients across the state and beyond for superior quality Plywood, Block Boards and Flush Doors.
