When Amit Shah (CEO) held a corporate job, he would face daily disappointment with the machine tea at his workplace. He discussed his desire to make machine tea, which is as good as freshly brewed tea, with Puneet Shah (COO). The quest for this perfect “Ek Pyaali Chai” without the hassle of brewing resulted in the creation of Desire Beverages.

A DECADE OF BEVERAGES

Amit Shah and Puneet Shah took their desire for the perfect cup of tea and turned Desire Beverages into a company that slakes India’s thirst!

First came the vending machines, which were the brainchild of Amit Shah and Puneet Shah’s father, Shailesh Shah. Then they added the Desire Instant Premixes to their suite of products. The idea was to give everyone the taste of freshly brewed tea, coffee and a variety of beverages without the inconvenience of brewing and other preparations. Then they built Desire Instant Chai Mazza Aa Jaaye Cafe chains all across the country that bring tasty, hygienic and affordable drinks & snacks for people from every walk of life. And finally came Indicup, their single-serve sachets, which people could carry their favourite beverage in their pocket.
