Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems: Efficient Water Treatment Solutions

Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a highly efficient and cost-effective process for separating suspended solids and other contaminants from water. Our DAF systems utilize a combination of dissolved air and fine bubble generation to effectively remove a wide range of pollutants, resulting in cleaner, clearer, and higher-quality water. Ideal for a variety of industries, our DAF solutions offer superior performance and reliability.

      How it Works:

Our DAF systems operate on the principle of introducing microscopic air bubbles into the water, causing the suspended solids and other contaminants to become buoyant and rise to the surface. This process involves several key stages:

      1. Air Saturation: Compressed air is dissolved into a portion of the incoming wastewater under pressure. The air saturation tank ensures optimal air-to-water ratio for maximum efficiency.
      2. Pressure Release: The pressurized water is then released into a flotation tank, causing the dissolved air to come out of solution. This release forms a massive amount of tiny bubbles (typically less than 100 microns).
      3. Flotation: The tiny air bubbles attach to the suspended solids and other contaminants, making them less dense than the water. This process creates a buoyant floc that rises to the surface.
      4. Sludge Removal: The accumulated solids and scum layer formed on the surface are then easily removed by a skimming system, leaving behind clarified water. The sludge can then be further processed or disposed of appropriately.

Key Advantages of Our DAF Systems:

      • High Efficiency: Removes a wide range of suspended solids, oils, greases, and other contaminants with exceptional efficiency.
      • Compact Design: Space-saving design minimizes footprint requirements, ideal for various installation environments.
      • Low Energy Consumption: Optimized design and advanced technologies minimize energy consumption compared to other treatment methods.
      • Reduced Chemical Usage: Often requires lower chemical dosages compared to alternative treatment technologies, reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
      • Versatile Applications: Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including:
        • Wastewater Treatment: Municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
