Our Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system offers a highly efficient and cost-effective solution for removing suspended solids, oils, and greases from various wastewater streams. This advanced technology utilizes the principles of buoyancy to separate these contaminants from the water, resulting in cleaner effluent and reduced operational costs.
Key Features & Benefits:
How it Works:
Our DAF system operates on the principle of dissolving air under pressure into the wastewater. This saturated water is then released into a flotation tank under reduced pressure, causing the dissolved air to come out of solution and form tiny bubbles. These bubbles attach to the suspended solids, oils, and greases, causing them to float to the surface, where they are skimmed off. The clarified water is then discharged.
