From as early as 6 years of age I spent my school holidays with my grandparents. My grandfather had all the tools required to do carpentry and he taught me how to use them and let me use old wood which was lying around. I soon developed a passion for wood and its natural beauty.
After school I did my apprenticeship as a carpenter and later became a state certified wood technician with the specialization in wood engineering.
