With his 25 years at M/s UTCON Engineers Pvt. Ltd., as Technical Director, Vilas is a well known personality in material handling. Starting from scratch, a complete manufacturing set up was developed to deliver turn-key projects in material handling. The association with local industry leaders led to, now, global alliances with industry leaders INDEVA, ZALLYS, 3ARM and HOVMAND Pravin Joshi A graduate from I.I.T. , Delhi , he started his career as installation & comm. engineer with a German collaboration. After completing a project for Tatas, he has been operating in entrepreneurial capacity for more than 3 decades. With his diverse experience from defense to turbines to various industrial applications in automation (hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs ), he is now part of the promoter team.
