They crafted a wide range of objects, from small, decorative jewelry and ornaments to larger, more complex statues and idols. The ability to create fine details and complex geometries made investment casting ideal for producing items of both aesthetic and functional value.

A notable resurgence in the demand for investment casting occurred in the 19th century, driven significantly by its applications in dentistry. The precision offered by investment casting allowed for the creation of accurate and well-fitting dental prosthetics, such as crowns and inlays, revolutionizing dental restoration techniques.
