M/S. KAVITA ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES was established in 1986 as a proprietary business within the SSI sector, initially focusing on the manufacturing of spare parts for bore-well hand pumps at its facility in Moosapet, Hyderabad.

As the company evolved, it began producing spare parts for turbines manufactured by BHEL and machinery components for B.D.L. in 1988, marking the beginning of a significant growth phase. In 1992, the company acquired land for a new factory, which was constructed in 1994. By 2002, we launched a new product, the Domestic De-Fluoridation Water Filter, developed in-house. This product was subsequently supplied to rural areas in Andhra Pradesh with support from the state government, and in 2007, we began developing reverse osmosis systems to address the issue of fluoride-contaminated water in villages.

We also introduced improved versions of our water filters to the domestic market, aiming for broader commercial outreach. Our company has gained recognition as a manufacturer and supplier of Domestic De-Fluoride Filters in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in fluoride-affected districts such as Prakasam, Kurnool, Warangal, and Karimnagar. Additionally, we have received ISO 9001-2000 Certification, and our filters are produced in accordance with guidelines from UNICEF and IIT Kanpur. Quality checks are conducted by the relevant district officials from the S.E's RWS and Panchayat Raj departments in Andhra Pradesh. The fluoride-removing agent, Activated Alumina, is recommended by IIT Kanpur, and we source our raw materials from IPCL, Reliance Industries Ltd., and Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. Our facility is equipped with fully automated blow and injection molding machines, allowing us to produce plastic containers ranging from 5 ml to 50 liters, complete with lids. Our valued clients include major pesticide manufacturers in Hyderabad, and we are now planning to expand our supply across India, as well as to produce customized products for cosmetics, Ayurveda, and pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, we have recently started manufacturing PET bottles and PP bottles.
