The PM Surya Ghar- Muft Bijli Yojana is a government initiative designed to provide free electricity to households.PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and launched on 15 February 2024.The PM Surya Ghar Yojana aims to install rooftop solar panels on the homes of 1 crore people, significantly reducing or even eliminating their electricity bills. The beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana will be low and middle-income families with an annual income of less than 2 lakh rupees.The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana was officially launched on February 15, 2024. This scheme installs solar panels on residential rooftops to provide power to homes and even earn money by selling extra electricity. The government offers substantial subsidies directly to people’s bank accounts and provides low-interest loans to ensure there are no upfront costs.
