Yugs Elevator

Tolaram Ji Sharma (1920–1999) was a master of machinery who founded Tolaram Group in 1950. He was honored with the title of “Jugaad ka Master” in Itwari Patrika. Tolaram Ji expanded Tolaram Group from one factory to five factories and revolutionized the heavy machinery industry in 1970 by indigenously developing “Continuous Casting and Rolling Mill Machinery”. This machine had the capacity to produce 40 tons of aluminum wire per day, a feat even challenged by the London Head Office of Incab.

Tolaram Ji was a great believer in “simple living and great thinking.” His well-wishers knew him as a “Karm Yogi.” He strongly believed in continuous learning and followed the philosophy of “Work is Worship.” According to him, “India has great engineers, but we lack hardworking professionals. A good engineer is one who works with his own hands rather than just giving instructions to others.” He had a firm faith in “providing the right things at the right time and at the right price.”

Due to his intelligence and vision, the group has established a strong name in the heavy machinery industry with well-known firms such as:

• Rajasthan Heat Treatment

With the same vision of “providing the right things at the right price,” the group has now expanded into the elevator industry with the establishment of “Yug Elevators.”
